Carnaby Street
The Carnaby Street Christmas Lights are getting a sustainable makeover. The designers have created an exciting display of Christmas lights that celebrates the oceans, and the increasing need to protect them.
They’re all made from recycled materials, and the grand illumination takes place on November 7th at 6pm.
Covent Garden
Covent Gardens lights display is beautiful, with over 115,000 dazzling lights shining over London’s busiest garden. Lets not forget the 30,000 lights that illuminate London’s biggest hand-picked tree that stands in the centre of the square.
The switch on the night is always set out to be an extravaganza, so prepare to see a famous celebrity hitting that switch on button, and we can assure you that the sight is beautiful and it’s one you won’t want to miss!
Regent High Street
This year marks the 200th year anniversary of the creation of Regent Street itself, so make sure you get there celebrate this key moment in London history as well as the switch on of their stunning light display.
Regent Street holds the largest light installation in the city, ‘The Spirit of Christmas’ features spectacular suspended spirits which light up the street, it’s inspired by the original Christmas Lights in Regent Street all the way back in 1954. This is truly a magical moment for anyone planning to soak up the celebratory atmosphere. The switch on will take place from 5:30pm to 6:30pm.
