Summer is well and truly here, and it’s a great time to stay with us at Euston Square Hotel, London. You’ll see the city in a whole new light, as the sun brings life out onto the streets and into the parks. Here’s a selection of events and ideas to get you out and about this month and into the next.
Don’t miss Summer Evenings at London Zoo. Join grown-up tours, talks, and enjoy some delicious cocktails at this fabulous institution. It’s even within walking distance from us here at Euston Square Hotel. Until 28th of July.
Also in Regent’s Park, how about some theatre? Regent’s Park Open-Air Theatre 2023 line-up features six exciting shows, including Robin Hood and Dinosaur World Live. It’s a wonderful way to spend an evening in this most beautiful of parks. The park also makes a great spot for a picnic, as does nearby Primrose Hill, with its panoramic views of the city. Grab a picnic basket and enjoy the sunshine at any of London’s top picnic spots.
Remaining outside, you can admire beautiful gardens and floral displays at the RHS Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival. It’s the largest annual flower show in the world, and well worth a visit. The Festival runs from 4th July until the 9th. If gardens are your thing, then we recommend you explore Kew Gardens too. Easily accessible from Euston Square Hotel by taking the Circle and District lines on the Underground, it’s a great day out. Wander the themed gardens, marvel at exotic flowers and sheer scale of the collection.
For music lovers, Greenwich Summer Sounds takes place at the Old Royal Naval College. Catch Nile Rogers and Chic (4th July), Sir Tom Jones (6th July), Black Eyed Peas (7th July) and Kaiser Chiefs (8th July), all in this amazing riverside setting. You will also find an array of world famous artists at BST Hyde Park, with legendary headliners including Blackpink, and even Bruce Springsteen for summer 2023.
Camden never disappoints when it comes to new music. Discover some of the best new London acts at Camden Rocks Festival. Catch indie, rock, and alternative bands throughout the summer at this multi venue festival. Until 30th September, so plenty to check out! It’s an easy walk from us at Euston Square too.
For more Classical tastes, don’t miss the BBC Proms at the Royal Albert Hall with more than 40 days of concerts to enjoy between 14th July and 9th September.
